A young man named Jacob really wants to give his analysis of my previous post. Rather than simply have it appear in the comments section, I thought I’d give it a feature spot here at Patriot Retort.

So, basically, one can’t commemorate or remember 9/11 without posting images of mass murder all over Facebook?

I don’t recall saying that the only way to commemorate 9/11 was to post images of mass murder. Many people are simply posting pictures of the Twin Towers or perhaps a picture of firemen raising the American flag. So unless we are broadly defining images of mass murder to include photographs of the World Trade Center or the beams of light in place of them, I don’t think I wrote that.

Here’s the inherent flaw with your logic:

one can remember and respect the victims of 9/11 without putting pictures of their mass murder all over the Internet. Frankly, that’s exactly what Bin Laden would have wanted you to do. He wants to make sure that Americans remember the fear, sadness and terror of that day. Why not instead post pictures of the memorials, the survivors, and the new Tower, things that will still memorialize the event without disrespecting the victims’ memories by reminding everyone of how horrible their deaths were?

Again. Many people are posting such images. I have seen them. In fact, I have also seen the photograph of the beautiful rainbow over Manhattan that happened yesterday. That was spectactular!

And, I feel the need to ask, what kind of asscunt politicizes 9/11 ON 9/11?

You want to talk about disrespecting their memories? How about using a “commemorative” post commenting on how disrespectful today’s youth are SO YOU CAN TAKE A POTSHOT AT THE CURRENT PRESIDENT?!

How is pointing out that Obama is capitulating to Iran a potshot?

Potshot is defined as: a shot aimed unexpectedly or at random at someone or something with no chance of self-defense OR a criticism, especially a random or unfounded one.

You, madam, are a hypocrite and an unamerican coward to manipulate what today means to us all like that, and you’re the equivalent of a terrorist pissing on the graves of the deceased.
